Life as a stay-at-home mom and wife ain’t as glamorous as people think. Especially when you have a little one. There’s so many demands with no income and it’s very exhausting but has so many rewards. You try so hard to meet the needs of your family along with those of your home. Plus the constant needs of an infant that does take priority most the time. You might even feel pulled in so many directions that your stressed alot.
Finding Balance
Its a challenge for every mom to find your balance. Especially when your a sportswoman too. We all need an outlet of something that we enjoy doing. Something that allows us to take a break and relax. For me I enjoy shooting my bow, sitting on the porch, or hunting and fishing. Just something about the outdoors does the heart and soul some good.
Most moms will agree that trying to get things in order with kids is very frustrating. I’ve learned that stressing over laundry and dishes is pointless when it’s an endless battle. Someday I do good getting the minor things done when the little one needs me more, and that’s okay. Seeing the smile on your little ones face or hearing “I love you momma” from an older one makes it all worth it.
I know it can be stressful working outside the home, but at least you can leave that all behind you. When you’re a stay-at-home mom/wife, our job never ends. Especially if your little one wakes you up at night. No matter the situation, we all have our struggles. Surrounding yourself with supportive and encouraging people can help keep you uplifted when you need the boost. Always remember you’re not alone.
Finding my own balance is still a work in progress. Sure I might get frustrated or stressed out at times, but I wouldn’t trade being home with my family for anything. No matter how your day goes, take a moment to breathe and tell yourself that “You ARE Enough”…
Through the stress n frustration, you’re enough..
